Exam Feedback November 2016 Part 1 Exam Feedback

I would request BT to take this feedback and try to prepare 3-4 full length practice test close to real exam. We...

Exam Feedback November 2016 Part 1 Exam Feedback

I failed in May exam and not sure if I would pass now. The pattern of exam was very different this time vs in May. Multiple concepts were clubbed together this time. I felt the questions in May exam were simpler (I wasn't prepared for May exam). Didn't subscribe to BT or Schweser in May. I...

GARP.FRM.PQ.P1 What percentage of the distribution is not between A and B (garp16-p1-66)

    Hi David, Can you please explain this part in detail? Prob(mean - 2*σ < X < mean + 1.5*σ) = (0.5 - 0.0228) + (0.5 - 0.0668) = 0.9104 I know 80 - 32 = 48 means 2 STD DEV from the mean as the STD DEV is 24. 32 is 2 STD DEV from the mean of 80. Thanks, Sachin

    CHI square vs F-Test

What is the difference between F-test and CHI square test? They look similar. Also how do we decide when to use a 1 or 2 tail values in tables?

    Foreign Exchange

    How do we interpret USD/EUR = 1.25? Is it $1 = EUR 1.25 or EUR 1 = $ 1.25? General market convention is like USD/INR = 65 means $1 = INR 65. Lot of FX questions are expected on Part 1 exam.
