Part 2: Chapters with no video: lower testability?!

Hi Suzanne,

I aware that GARP has changed a bunch of readings from 2012 to 2013, so this is understandable that David couldn't cover the entire 2013 curriculum.
But I would like to know if the chapters, with no associated recorded video, have a lower testability than others or is it just an arbitrary choice?!

I'm thinking to : -Malz chapters 11 and 12
-Gregory Chapters 3 and 5

Thanks for your answer!

Hi freddel02,

Good question, it was not arbitrary. Realizing we could not record videos for all chapters before the exam, I definitely selected the readings I estimated would have higher testability. For example, Gregory's review of counterparty measures like EE, PFE and EPE are more likely than some of his collateral minutiae. I am certain that Gregory and Malz are currently over-assigned: the exam cannot possibly query all of these AIMs and some are virtually untestable. In fact, what is likely more relevant to the upcoming exam is that some of the concepts will take a few exam cycles to manifest into test questions, is our perception. (the testable body tends to be more of a "trailing average" of concepts with threshold durability). I hope that explains, thanks,
