We have decided that it is time to add some more fun and excitement to the forums again this year!!

Each week (or every few weeks depending on how much forum participation we have) we will be giving away two $15 gift certificates to Amazon, Starbucks or iTunes (iTunes is US only).

How do you win? It is really simple!

• We will award a gold star (Winner!) on your qualifying forum post. One gold star gives you one entry, two gold stars gives you two entries, and so on.
• At the end of each week we will randomly draw two prize winners from our list of gold star earners.
• Those two winners will receive a $15 gift certificate to Amazon or iTunes (iTunes is US only)

How do you earn a gold star?

• Correcting an error by David: Occasionally, David’s daily question contains an error and a member makes a correction. This is tremendously helpful and will earn a gold star.
• Helpful replies to another member’s question: A handful of our members are generous with their time in helping others and we will express our gratitude with a gold star.
• Other proactive participation: If you post something that is helpful (e.g., a resource), it will generally receive “likes,” and we may award a gold star.

Thanks Nicole, I have two (minor) thoughts:

• @Nicole Manley for convenience, can winners also just use the forum and post/converse; e.g., it's pretty easy to start a conversation. Some members already use conversations, with me, I can see. Technically, I guess it's possible to either post to someone's profile (which appears to be public) or start a conversation (which appears to be private). Just in case this is more convenient than email.
  
• Just to clarify: if you win and forget to follow-up, no worries We won't "expire" your gift card. If you win multiple times, we will track the cumulative and send you the total when you want. Your win is "permanent" and you can claim at your convenience. Thanks,
