The exam was similar to GARP mock tests, but harder. Some questions applied the GARP mock exam answers directly (i.e., if return follow Garch(1,1) multiplying sqrt(day) for longer-term VaR would overestimate risk ; if return have jump process —> underestimate risk).

Quantitative ones can be tricky (e.g., Merton’s distance to default / standard deviation/ assumptions) while others are straightforward and thus worth to remember formula (half time - CIR model, Altman score).

One unexpected question was about difference between NIST, ISO 2xxx, and the other one which I could not remember.

I did practice with BT interactive quiz platform (but not the mock exam one as someone said questions should be similar) which helped the exam logic a lot.
