Please let me know as soon as the FRM Part 1 online course for the May 2012 exam has been updated and is ready for purchase?

Suzanne could you plz confirm with David and find out if GARP will allow us to sit for the FRM Part 1 exam in Nov 2012...and then sit for the FRM Part 1 exam in Nov 2013. Surely I will have to purchase updated coourse material.

I have zero finanance background.

So I was thinking of spending some extra time for study.

E.g. get the updated FRM Part 1 course from you guys in FEB 2012, and prepare until OCT 2012, and sit the FRM Part 1 exam in NOV 2012.

E.g. get the updated FRM Part 2 course from you guys in FEB 2013, and prepare until OCT 2013, and sit the FRM Part 2 exam in NOV 2013.

Someone told me that GARP wants both FRM parts exam to be taken in one give year.

I am new to all this 'Forums' so I am finding my way through it.

In reference to the 2012 contents, we will post an announcement and send a newsletter as soon as they are ready. This will not be until early 2012. Our FAQ for the 2012 content is here.

The FAQ on GARP's site says:

If I have taken and passed the FRM Exam Part I, am I required re-register for the FRM Exam Part II within a certain period of time?

A: Yes. Once a candidate passes the FRM Exam Part I they must pass the FRM Exam Part II within 4 years (8 Exam cycles). If a candidate fails to pass the FRM Exam Part II within that timeframe, they must re-enroll in the FRM Program as a New Candidate.

OK, please add me to the news letter, and let me know as soon as the updated 2012 FRM Part 1 course material is ready for purchase. I will solely just learn from your course and hope to pass rge FRM Part 1 exam in either in MAY 2012 or in NOV 2012 (depending on how my study goes).

Hi lavinde, thanks for your interest. I'm already getting the plan together for 2012. I am a huge fan of an early start, the single best thing a candidate can do is start early and study with some regularity (rather than last hour mad dash). OK David, thanks for your response. Please add me to the newsletter, and let me know as soon as the updated 2012 FRM Part 1 course material is ready for purchase, and I will start the study. BT...has the IT factor!!!
After reviewing a number of sites and offerings for FRM exam prep, I came across BT and my friends and I are shocked! One of my friends will purchase David’s course early next year and he is zero in finance knowledge, but BT site has convinced him that he can learn it and do it! David’s approach is very straight forward! No beating around the bush! My friends and I are shocked of his dedication! I mean this guy is totally crazily passionate about what he does!
