How come Kaplan is selling 2013 books if the list of reading materials/topics is not published yet b

They are taking orders but they're not published yet. They will be beginning of Feb (that's what I was told for part 2 anyways)

Is it soft copy or hard?
Of course if it's hard, then it's going to take more time for shipping. There won't be enough time to study.

Hard copy, but I think delivery will be relatively quick. Within a week.

It's still not the best, but you'll have to make do I guess.

fyi, a typical rationale for hard copies is that they are harder to copy (and copyright violation is a *huge* problem). Note the totally inconvenient DRM (locklizard) used by GARP on their PDFs. In my opinion, copyright is the primary motive for hard copies

Last year, hard copies of Kaplan products arrived first week of March.
Orders were taken from new year.
A soft copy was rolled out beginning of Feb, by reading topic, available through a flip page screen that cannot be copied (nothing like pdf files or locklizard protection), can only be viewed through a log in password.
Must have cost them. But it was the help they provided so candidates could begin studying before hard copies were sent.
