Hi Suzanne (I am recording): Could I ask you to make sure Shawn has a EE forum post, or we do, posted at the EE technical forum: http://expressionengine.com/forums/ ... It's sort of (IMO) an irritating, (if not intolerable, if not unacceptable) bug for a world-class CMS, and I would hope we are making noise on their (EllisLab's) forum about it ...
.... EE 2 has a lot of bugs, so squeaky wheel gets the oil over there, is my sense

Hi David,

Yes, there is an open forum entry on EE and Shawn is following the thread: http://expressionengine.com/bug_tracker/bug/17423

Thanks,
Suzanne

Hello David and Suzanne,
I am also trying to get used to the website.
· I understand that you’re updating the 2012 videos, but if I viewed some of the 2011 videos (I’m up to T2d), do you recommend viewing the 2012 videos again? Are there significant differences? You won’t be doing T3 and T4 videos until April, should I wait or go ahead with the 2011 videos if I want to move forward. Do you anticipate significant differences?
· With regard to practice questions, which one do you recommend: practice questions under How To (PDF downloads) or the forum or both? Are they largely the same?
· How representative are the practice questions (How To and Forum) of the actual exam? Are these questions more for really understanding the concepts?
Thanks.

Hi sleepybird:
  • As T3 and T4 are essentially the same as last year (2011), you can view either 2011 or wait. My preference is that you wait, b/c the 2012 will be better (and I will strive to publish them on time per the calendar, as those dates are early April). But you don't need to view both, that would be unnecessary redundancy. See http://forum.bionicturtle.com/threads/first-impressions-2012-frm-part-1-l1-reading-list.5012/ for lack of AIM differences, although we will have improvements
  • Re: practice questions, as a paid member please use the PDFs in the Study Planner: http://www.bionicturtle.com/my-account/study-planner
    (how-to is much too inconvenient)
  • Representativeness: you can always search the forum before asking a question like this, FYI; it has been much discusses. Short answer is: for understanding concepts, and generally a notch or two more difficult (sometimes two questions packed into one).
Thanks,
